installing mechanical gauges??

i have a 1987 f150 302 efi and the temp guage stopped working so i bought a mechanical type aftermarket temp gauge from autozone. i cant figure out where to connect the end of it to the engine.

pull out the water temp sensor from the lower intake manifold right at the front crossover in the manifold and use your adaptors from the kit

how do u change the fitting that the gauge came with

you should have misc adapters that came with your gauge kit and one of them will fit the hole in the manifold then screw the fitting on the gauge line into the adaptor use pipe dope or something on the adaptor fitting that screws into the intake manifold
