Interchange TransmissionS
I have a 1990 1/2 Ton XLT Extended cab with a 350 Windsor and auto trans.
VIN: 1FTEX15H1LKA25617
I need to replace the trans. and was wondering if there was an interchange listing available.
Some one mentioned that a 302 would fit?
Anything in particular I should be looking for?

I was hoping that the Vin # would tell me that but I couldn't find the info.
Remember no question is stupid if one doesn't know the answer
How can I find out what trans. is in it?

The bottom row under TRANS will have a code (#18 in the image below).
Post the code back and we will tell you what it is.
