Hi all, well I am having some turbo problems, so here is a little back ground. I have had my 05 for about 8 months, A coupple of months ago it seemed like it was missfiring at about 1800 rpm, now I know its not a missfiring issue, so I did some reading on here and decied it was the EGR valve, so I cleaned it and the truck ran great after that. About a month later the turbo stoped putting out, I would step on the gas and the truck would go to 3000 rpm and 0 psi boost, then all of a sudden 30psi. I figured the vanes were cloged/dirty with the same stuff on the EGR, so I got the reconditioning kit and took the turbo apart, cleaned it up and put it back in. Now its still doing the same thing. Some times no boost, and some times it runs fine. Any ideas would be great, I am thinking it has something to do with the VGT Actuator.
Sorry I can't give much input except to say read up on the post by Brickie called 6.0 info from International it has good info on the whole motor with a trouble shooting section in part 6..I am building a library of info on this engine and found the post last night. I am sure it has info to help you out. Some one was going to add it to the 6.0 bible but you can find it floating around in this forum.... hope it helps out..

You need to get the codes read. It might not be the turbo or VGT. More than 1 turbo has been re-built due to a bad EBP sensor. Did you clean the EBP tube when you cleaned the EGR valve?
I had the codes checked today, there was a bunch on there. We cleared them and one came back P0404, which has something to do with the EGR valve... so is it messed up, does it need to be replaced?
