dp tuner
For you guys running DP tuners, question for you? I bought this tuner when I had stock injectors on my truck. I recently went to 70hp injectors. Do I have to send the chip in for a re burn to take this into account. I dont wont any power left on the table. In other words I want to get full use of the new injectors. Thanks Guys! Maxx

from my understanding, you wont get nearly the full use of the injectors with out the right tunnng, stock pcm is still telling them to fire the stock 90cc +- what ever the chip gets out of them, so yes send in your chip and let dp work there magic

I sent this same question to Jody a few ago. Hoping to get his reply soon. I just dont know enough about these chips. I thought possibly the tunes were set up at a maximum so it would not matter but I'm not so sure my logic is correct. Thanks

Did you just get nozzle work done? For the OBS trucks Jody always says to just try the tunes first. Watch your EGT's and see how they do power wise for you. If your not happy get the new tunes. If you were going from Splits to Singles(this is what most '99 and up guys do) or going really big it would be a different story.

Thanks, I had already spoke with Jody yesterday about this. Since the new injectors only had nozzle work done he said the pulsewidth was already tuned and no need for reburn. thanks Jody or Diane Maxx
