My blood pressure is boiling over politics..
I say the hell with the government and let the people take care of things in an honest matter....
Well, we topped out at 68* today. It was supposed to be a little warmer but I think the cloud cover made it a little cooler. It's all good though. I just wish we could maintain 68* all year...LOL.
Looks like it's supposed to drop into the 50s tonight. I don't mind that and it's one of the reasons I prefer to work midnight shift. It's nice working when it's a little cooler outside, especially considering all of the stuff I have to wear. I weigh exactly 30 pounds more with all of my gear on than I do without it. And that's just the standard issue stuff....doesn't include any of the specialized gear.
While I'm not a huge fan of really cold weather, I would rather work in colder weather than hot. Most times when I'm working and I'm outside the cruiser, I don't even wear a coat.
Having said that, when I retire, I will be seeking a warmer year round climate...LOL.

My retirement did not come through last night so we have a long wait on mine I guess..
Well, if the town gets the early retirement package they had proposed to them, I can go in 9 more years. After that, I'll do something part-time but it probably won't be LE related.
