The one major thing I did have to do. was extend the top part of the bump, it was just under a 1/4 inch shorter than the factory. So, I straightened it out, and, using a piece of oak clamped down as a buck, rebent that flange going under the upper bed, adding that little bit to the upper bump. the oringinal bend was below the black sharpie line you can see on the bump. Hence the hammer marks, that I’ll work out some more. Still have a tad bit more work to do on that.

Thanks guys! One thing I did figure out, the fuel filler neck from the 78 I robbed isn’t going to work, it’s at the wrong angle, and too tall. But, I did find an afternarket neck, with the vent, that’s shorter. And, I should be able to use a soft fuel line from there to the tank. I’ll still use the fuel door from the 78, just have to make an enclosure for the cap, that fits to that door, shouldn’t be a big deal.

Apologies for the lax in updating, it's been a busy fall! I'm still not 100% sure if I'm going to run the filler through the box side, but, preparing for that for now. Donor door trimmed down, and a plate made to mount the inner structure to the back of the door, that will support the fuel filler hose. Also cut out the box floor and wall.

Since the image uploader is being a POS, I'm going to try and upload the photos in separate post. Stupid upgrades!!!

Had one dent to remove on the drivers side box corner. I couldn't get to the back of it, so, cut the section out, pounded out the dent, and then welded it back in, worked pretty well.
