Overdrive switch question
My overdrive switch light on my 350 wasn't coming on and I replaced the switch but the light still doesnt come on. im not sure if the overdrive is working, the light is just out, or both. any info on how to tell??

Most likely the wires to the switch wore through or broke inside the steering column where they enter the shifter handle. Take the plastic cover off of the steering column (three screws from the bottom) and inspect the wires. Either fix them or replace the shifter handle for about $50.
