I Lost My Teeth

Yesterday I removed the window regulator from my truck and found out why the window always went up and down clunky, I lost some teeth on the large gear of the regulator. The PO built up the teeth with weld and ground everything back, he did make it work but I can see it will be a problem again in the near future. I have always used Mid Fiftys for my parts but last night I found the regulator for $20.00 less at LMC. with every penny counting these days I could use the $20 spot for some frostys when I put it back together. Who uses LMC and are there parts good quality. I really figure only 1 company is reproducing the part and all the vendors are selling the same .

Give me some input.
THanks RIck

I was in another forum here looking for a fuel tank for my 69 and there was over $100 difference between companies with LMC being the cheapest by far. I posed the same question and apparently yes they are all flogging the same parts with the exception of the ones they make in house of course. I ended up finding a good tank close to home so never did use them but LMC got thumbs up from everyone I talked to.

LMC is local to me in Olathe, KS. I have purchased from them and have not had any problems. I think you are correct that some of the parts are only made by one manufacturer (China) and are sold by many vendors.
