86 efi running flooded
Hello everyone
My truck is running flooded, black smoke out exhaust at idle when it doesnt die.I cleaned the egr and went for a ride opened her up and went back to the house and when i pulled in it wanted to die on my and black smoke was comming out of exhaust.Replaced the egr, fuel pressure regulator, and idle air bypass vavle is working fine. What could be the problem?

MAP sensor and vacuum lines. Re-check the fuel pressure regulator with/without vacuum. Should drop/pop several PSI 7-8? as vacuum is applied removed. New one could still be flaky. MAP will tell ECM to add more gas as if WOT. Could also be sticking injectors... Lotsa things...
Didja pull the codes? O2 sensor should be going nuts. Catalytic should be getting really hot too...CHerry red?
Too much gas is either commanded or accidental. Commanded would be MAP/ECM/ECT/ACT sensors. Accidental would be bad injector or FPR.
