im use to chevys getting 14volts running but my superduty never goes over 13.2v. I have no performance issues. engine cranks fine. lights plenty bright. is this normal. this is not the gauge this is when in diagnostic mode on the odo read out. push the trip button in wile you turn the acc on till the gauges cycle.

Mine shows the same thing at the Bullydog monitor plugged into the ODB port. I first noticed it after a shop ran the batteries down while installing a remote start (doors open, lights on all day ;-( )

I thought it would come back up to 13.8 or 14.0 after the batteries got charged back up, but three weeks and a couple thousand miles later and it's still reading 13.2.

This caused a problem with the remote start when they set it to check the voltage to see if the engine had started. I had to take it back and they changed the sensing to "low voltage" and I've had no more problems.

Use voltmeter at the alt to see what's it's putting out....may be a bad regulator inside the alt. Still under warranty?

If the batteries are low and the alternator is high you have a bad or weak battery. For the voltage to run though the cab and to the sensors is a long way and may lose some voltage in the process.
