Well I've got a bit of a delima, I have a 1995 IH school bus 175k mi w/a 444E. Haven't had any luck selling locally, everyone wants it for nothing. Auction brings roughly $2-3500 Could take it to the auction, but I hate to take a hit (auction fees etc) not to mention it's a couple years out of inspection and 1.5 hrs to the auction site..
The motor is a 95 so the HPOP and front cover would be different than my 96& 97's right? So I'd mainly have a long block w/injectors. Thought about keeping it for a spare but all the more miles I put on my dump truck or my pickup it could be 10+ yrs before I'd need it.
Makes good storage, and has lots of good parts...thought about pulling the motor, trying to sell the good parts and scrapping the rest... what do you guys think?

 

If you don't need to get rid of it, I recommend keeping it. It never hurts to have a spare on hand already paid for.
