All Ford show moving to PF

All Ford show moving to PF
For the ones who wanted the Supernational back in Pigeon Forge, looks like you will get your wish. The 2010 "All Ford Show" will be in the new parking lot behind and across the street from the Grand Hotel. The new site comes with a price increase $40 pre-register and $50 at the show.
Cost aside I think it is a great move.
I will venture to say I think a lot of shows will be wanting to move to this new site. Its a big and open area with 1000's of parking places and only 1 block off the parkway. I added a link if you want to check it out.

Call a crap stir'er but it seems like the group that was already going back to PF was gaining every year. Now the Super Nats are part of another show or combined with another show which could be cool but I would rather support the show that stayed true to the trucks during this whole time, not that I would be glad to look at all the cars at an all Ford show but I don't see trucks being center stage unless they kind of have a separate thing going. Just thoughts...

Maybe your wish came true . The 2010 F100 supernats & all ford show will be in Pigeon Forge Mid may next year .I hear plenty of room in the center of town 1 block off the main rd. Room rates @ $70 =2 nite min.
Located basically in the center of U.S.
I might even drag the 1ST-RIDE up there for the show .It needs to be seen anyway .

I agree if the time comes that I have to choose only one PF show I will choose the Smoky Mountain F-100 Run. Stanley and his group have worked very hard to give us what we said we wanted, a layed back show in the heart of PF. I think there is room for both shows. I hope they both prosper.

Well, I have to agree with Brian and Ward. Since I have to choose only 1 big show to make, it will definately be the Smokey Shadows show. We make it our family vacation and just love the guys who put the show on. Even the last time the Supernats was in PF it was loosing the old feel it once had.
Just my opinion, but it is what matters to me.

Just found this out and came over to see if ya'll had heard.
I probably won't register Little Black, but I might ride up there just for the day to check it out, hit up the vendors and swap area and call it a day.
It won't ever be the same as it once was. Especially since they made it "All Ford." I love some Fords, but I'm just not a car girl and I can't get excited about Mustangs and Fairlanes. F100s are what turns my crank.
And half the fun is sitting around til late in the parking lot, because hell, all you gotta do is walk to your room. The one good thing about being back in Pigeon Forge, at least at the end of the show you can go race go-karts or find something to eat. At Chillhowee there was nothing to do after the show, and the area was not a very good area to be cruising around in.
So the Smokey Mtn show with the Duck Club is where me and Little Black are gonna spend our time.

Photos from the the new parking lot.
Looks like it will hold more trucks than the Grand did. Their is a walking trail that a person could take to get back to the Grand if they decided to leave their truck in the lot. This last photo is in the far Northwest corner looking up toward one of main entrances. The would be to the right looking at this photo right behind the trees at the other end of the parking lot

My wife and I looked this lot over back in April thinking it would be the next big spot to hold truck (auto) shows. The other place we found was the old boyds bear parking lot behind the Smoky Shadows. Just a thought if anyone is looking for a good location. (Rob)
Thanks for the photos Donald.
