OD light blinking - error code P0782

OD light blinking - error code P0782
I am new to the forum, and wanted to thank all of you. I searched old threads, and found the information I needed.
I have a 97 F150 and recently had the OD Light start blinking. No other observable problems other than it started shifting harder. Found out the shifting harder was from going into Safe Mode.
Anyway, we pulled the codes and code P0782 came up.
I found through this forum that the most likely culprits were the Accumulator and ****fting solenoids. But it was also recommended that we try just clearing the codes and driving it.
Well we cleared the codes and no further problems today. But if it does happen, well at least I know that I should only be out $400 - 600.
I just felt the need to give an update as your help was much appreciated.
