Transit connect extended WB?

Anyone know if a longer wb model is planned? These are too short for my needs.

There is a long WB model on sale in Europe and I agree that the length would also be great for my needs. I'm guessing Ford is just getting it to market and will go from there. I believe in 2012, the Connect will get a new version and those may be built in the US (Wayne, MI) which would also make me happy, since I'm in the Detroit area, not far from Wayne. I much prefer buying a local American vehicle as opposed to a Turkish one.

I'm guessing that they will have more production capacity and flexibility if they can build them here.

One problem I see is that people WILL complain about the 2 liter engine with 135 horsepower and a GVW close to 5000 lbs. It will struggle on the freeway, and I'm guessing that a 2.3 or 2.5 liter engine would also be good, especially if they go any bigger or longer with the box.
