there are times when you need a 5 or 6 passenger vehicle, and now that they frown on hauling people in the pick up box, a guy might need a four door sedan. go for it, just don't haul cow manure in it. dick r.
Congrats Bob! I have my list of other makes as well.....just waiting for the first one to fall in my lap. Should make a nice project, and when you're frustrated on it for the while, you can still hop in the F2 and go for a ride. Some of us can't do that yet, lol.
Nice looking Buick Bob. I had a 40 Buick 2-dr sedan for awhile. A nice limo. I still see it in the area now and then and wonder why I sold it. Good luck with it.

You just came up with Bob's new handle, "BuickBob".
Cool Ride Bob,..Getting a thumbs-up from Momma Bear makes life easier...It'll be great to take the family out in..should be plenty of room in the engine bay for just about any drivetrain combo....I see your humor in the rat-rod ....Have Fun!!
Here I thought you might finally do up a 51-52 truck manure spreader and all
That's also what I thought when I saw the title. Bob that is a very complete car and will make a nice addition. When you go to car shows, your wife can drive the buick and you can drive a truck. Every body's happy.
Bob - You, more than most, know the drive behind this forum is more about the reward of building than the brand name, There's no straying here...just the coolness of the build. Besides.....she likes it. That's a big green light to me!!!
I've already gotten an idea of what I want to do if I get it:
Bob ,if you chop up that old beauty I.ll keep cruising north on 39 every time I make the journey from Fla. - G.B .
Please Bob ,don't do it .I.would pay you double and drag it back to Fla .
That's a cool car Bob. I can't believe the wife approved that one, considering you got flack for that truck from Chicago we bought.
Tanner, the key thing about the car is she likes it. My wife isn't really interested in my trucks, or anything that relates to them.
She's starting to waffle about the car so I need to go down ASAP and pick it up. I've already made arrangements to do it tomorrow. It's basically a no lose situation. My neighbor, the guy who was needling me, said if I don't want the car once I get it home he'll buy it for what I'll have into it. He thinks he can flip it for a good profit. I know he can, he's done it a hundred times before.

I was in your position, I'd make a few trips down there to pick up a few old vehicles to resell for a profit. Sounds like the guy has a few to sell and the prices seem to be reasonable.
We're heading down early tomorrow morning to pick up the Buick. Same gang of guys going except for one, my youngest son is taking his place. I think we're going to need the muscle, he's a big boy 6'2", close to 275 lbs and 16 years old.
We might also be bringing home a '59 Edsel, my neighbor saw it there last week when he bought a '53 Hudon Wasp and drove it home.
