On a '69 F250 step side long bed there is a reflector on the left side of the tail pan, I have gathered that it is OEM, are there supposed to be any others? I saw no evidence of one ever being on the rear of the left quarter but maybe the holes were filled.
Also, are OEM tail light brackets and tailgate hardware available? One source says that their hinges are for the earlier models.
Thanks.
P.S. what's color code H, it looks like a tanned orange?
Side reflectors were required on that model and are attached to the tail lights with a small bracket. These parts are available from NPD or LMC. Check online for their Web site and catalogs. They have good pictures of these items.
Tailgate hardware is limited but some is available also from NPD and LMC, and maybe some other company's also have some. Check internet for Restoration Ford Truck Parts.
In 1969 the Exterior color code H was a color named "Cordova." Your description of a "tanned orange" looks right on to me. That's what I would call it also. Good Luck!

There are two different types of taillight brackets. The difference: With a rear bumper or without a rear bumper.
The reason for this is...the rear bumpers were optional at additional cost.
My tail pan has indents for bumper brackets but the bumper and brackets are homemade. there are a pair of threaded holes on the leading edge of the stake pocket, 2" on center, 2.5" from the bottom. There is also a single threaded hole about 2" above each hinge on the trailing side of the stake pocket. There are also the holes for the aftermarket lights in the center of the outside face of the pocket. I would like to find some OEM brackets. Does that help any?
As for the reflectors, after searching through the galleries, I can plainly identify the locations of the three - one on the left side of the tail pan, which is still there, and one each, on the outside of the stake pocket about one-third from the top, which the holes look good.
Are production numbers for models available online?
