They make good products. I've been very please with it thus far. I went with Pro-comp shocks. I could tell imediately the improvement over stock. Have a good one bud!!
i have has 305 for the last two year ran 285 for 7 year before. I run the 305 for most of the year but in the winter i put a set of mud 285 on for less floatting and have room for tire chains. The 305 look much better and i like the way they drive just not in the snow.
I was running 265 75r 16s, just bought new Toyo's and went up to 285 75r 16, gave me 1 more inch of height, didn't seem to change my speedo much if any according to the GPS and makes my truck look like a truck instead of a highway rig. I'll take pics and post them up.
I have nothing to report for fuel economy yet, was getting 20 to 24 with the 265s, will find out this weekend if there has been a change.
285-75-16 D's here on stock rims, it looks pretty good but going bigger, maybe 315 with some new rim. Don't mind the date, its screwed up.. Here's a better look 285's Last pic Darrell, trying to get the best shot for looks purposes
Tomcat, I purchased those at Discounttire a while back. I've since sold them and running 18" Harley Davison Edition rims.
Hello again Glen......I'll check it out ....I have stock rims....I don't think I'll be able to paint them to look like your old ones.....also, is that "Line-x" that is sprayed on your rocker panels......? Thanks for the reply............"Stay Safe".......................Mark
Hello again Glen... Had a jack-knifing incident with a trailer full of poles, and my 03 f350 is in the body shop ( long story) .....body shop guy says that the paint is bubbling along the bottom edge of the doors and, I asked if line-x along the bottom would help....he said the only real fix is new door skins, because the rust is coming from inside...that the line-x would hide it( for awhile).......$1200 per door skin vs, $850 for line-x ......really liked the look of your truck w/rims (nice color combo).....thought yours was line-x.........so you didn't stick with the rims.....didn't like them , or did you have problems with them.....? are these the same ones.....Thanks again for the response......"Stay Safe"..........Mark MB Wheels 72 custom rims
Picture as promised. These are my new tires, 285 75 16s instead of 265. I have noticed a drop in hwy fuel economy, still trying to figure out what my average is.
These are Toyo MT's (if I remember correctly)
Compared to
Notice I had to take my front mud flaps off so that the tires would quit rubbing on them.
Not trying to hyjack this thread, but sincs Tomcat can't get PM's yet. I really liked the rims no problems with them what so ever. I had them over 3 yrs. the only reason I sold them was to get the HD rims.
