Question 67 F600 VIN help?

I am restoring a 67 dump with a 300 six. I am making notes from the forum on parts suppliers but need info on axels, brakes, bearings, seals ETC. Seem like there was a weigh split around 13000 pounds. Anyway here is my warrenty tag numbers and Any and all info from this would be helpful. Also I may need brakes someday so any idea who may have shoes or drums would be nice. It has a 2 speed rear end and I wish I knew the manufacture and gear ratio.
Thanks in advance
Mark

I just measured the rear drum last nite while putting a wheel seal in. It is about 4 1/4 across the surface where the shoes ride and 15 inch inside diameter if this helps

Welcome to FTE

F60 = F600 2WD

B = 300 1V I-6

K = Kansas City Assembly Plant

A19459 = 1967, assembled September 1966

132" Wheelbase

COLOR code missing

F602 = F600 2WD / 20,000 lbs. GVWR

M81: M = Medium Beige Petticrush Vinyl & Medium Beige Leeds Pattern Woven Plastic // 81 = 81A Standard Cab

M = Clark Model 250VO 5 Speed Direct or Dana-Spicer Model 6452A 5 Speed Direct *

F8 = Eaton Model 13802 2 Speed Rear Axle / 6.63-1/8.81-1 / 15,000 lb. Rear Axle Capacity **

20,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating

150 net HP @ 3600 RPM

739652:

73 = Salt Lake City Ford District Sales Zone Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.

9652 = Domestic Special Order number. The truck was special ordered by the original purchaser, not "bought off the lot."

Since there is no COLOR code, one reason it was ordered special is because it was painted a non standard color.

* Ford used the letter M in 1966/67 for both these 5 speed transmissions.

** Since there is only a rear axle code (F8), the front axle that is standard equipment for a 1967 F600 is rated at 5,000 lbs. capacity.

If there was a front axle code, there would be an additional letter after F8. Ford did it this way thru 1969. 1970 and later: All F500 and larger trucks have a front axle code.

Brakes (sigh ) Looking up brake parts for these trucks is a PITA!

Thankfully you came up with useful information.

Rear Brakes: F600 / 15,000 lb. rear axle capacity / drum measures 4 1/4" across the flat = Prolly 15" x 4" / These are the other choices: 15" x 4 1/2" or 15" x 5"

Front Brakes: F600 / 5,000 lb. front axle capacity / 14" X 2 1/2"

Brake parts availability. Most of the parts can be found, except the front & rear brake drums, which are very hard to find new...or used.

Question More 67 F600 brake help please

Ok I have the rears mostly figured out. On the front drums I could read some of the numbers but did not have the drum off so no measurements. but the numbers look like this. Can you tell which brakes these would be. Numbers underlined I am not sure of because the were faint.
