I have a 2015 F250 6.7L and I am having problems with the brakes. When you first start the truck and put it in reverse and hit the brakes there is a continuous popping noise coming from the floor board and it can be felt in the brake pedal. It feels like the brake pedal is kicking back, once you drive the truck a little ways down the road the brakes work fine but if you hit the brakes a few times in a row like coming to a red light the noise is there again and it can be felt in the pedal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It's a lariat, has abs and traction control, not sure about the anti-roll and yaw control. Dealer says I'm out of warranty with 64000 miles on the truck. They also said that the problem was worn brake pads, replaced pads and turned rotors all the way around and still same problem.
Sounds like something with the ABS - in the early days of ABS when you jammed on the brakes you could feel the pedal pulsating and what leads me to believe it may be something with the ABS.
