electric choke
hi.....looking for info on trouble shooting
an electric choke on a 2100......sounds like it's o.k.
to connect power lead to alt........when i set choke
plate by twisting round cover......tightening 3 screws does'nt
keep cover in place - still turns?

First a question or two. Do you have the metal ring in place that goes around the cap and under the 3 screws? If so, is it on up-side-down? Lastly, I had this same problem with my choke cap due to an after market cap on a Holley carb. I just placed a shim between the ring and cap made from a flat washer cut in two.
