Fast idle

Fast idle
I have 1979 f350 with a 351m stock 2 barrel carb. When I start it when its cold I don't have a fast idle and it stalls till the engine gets warm. After its warmed up it seems to fast idle. I think the choke is working ok. Could anyone give me some tips on how to fix this problem.

This is about a Ford 4100 carb but the instructions are the same for the 2bbl.
