Has anyone tried the universal 4V holley throttle body injection or know someone who has?
I would like the benefits of fuel injection and the easy tuning of just turning a ****. I know it is not a sequential injection with eight injectors, but the cold starting, part throttle and wide open always being correct regardless of temperature is very appealing.
I would also like a little better gas mileage.
The injection would go on a 400 with 2V heads (possibly 4V in about a year), C6, and 3.50 gears in a 4300 pound ranchero. I know there are planty of computer cams, so I am not worried about low vacuum.
Any stories of the pro-jection going bad or not performing?
I,m debating the advantage of Projection, the 2V unit is made for the 300 cid+ size engines so I,m thinking about it for my 300I6. so far I know a guy who installed it on a 350 chevy in his land cruiser for climbing competitions and another who instaled it on a 454 and they are both happy. I haven,t got any feedack yet on this resource. One thing people have said is that the hardest thing about installing the digital feedback system with the closed loop system is the actual mechanical installation.
