My White 56 came with these on the front fenders & I have never seen another pair. Are these rare or just unpopular and everyone removes them from their trucks?
Nick, far be it from me to claim to be an expert, but I would think that those are an after market add on. I don't recall ever seeing a Ford truck with these installed from the factory. Those look like they may have come off of a Chrysler product. Maybe someone will chime in and can identify them or have some info. about if they are OEM or not.
Thanks Gil, you are probably right. The funny thing is I pulled the one off the driver side today to start working on the beat up fender & the mounting holes and plug on the wire look like they could be factory. I didnt really take a pic of the holes but you can kind of see them in this pic.
The add on lights usually found on the Effies and Bonus Builts were the round amber type. You may have had a pair of these on their originally and someone decided to dress it up a little.
Those indicators look like the factory ones from a 64 to 66 Thunderbird , my T Bird has ones just like those. Also they are available thru the T Bird restoration places.

I bet you are right, when I bought the pair of trucks there was a hood & front bumper for a 65 T bird in the back of the green truck.
