The line to cyl 1 injector is dripping fuel out at the IP connection pretty steady while running, about one drop per second. I tightened it up some but wary of breaking anything... it's still dripping.
Where is a source for inexpensive replacement lines to Canada? Local Ford dealer quoted $98.21 per line, plus a week or more delivery.
MidWest Fuel Injection has them for under $50, but shipping cost / brokerage is pretty high.
Just pulled the old injector lines off and discovered:
1 - the new injector line is shaped differently than the old one. This is the #1 cylinder, curb side front, and the new line goes up from the IP and over the throttle cable to the #1 injector. The original line goes under throttle cable. There is no way to use the clamp to clamp it with the other lines. Will this be a problem?
2 - I discovered the #2 line is also broken, and need to replace it.
Shipping and brokerage fees are pretty bad for this... $39 for the one injector line. Sucks to have to order another.
I know the best thing to do is replace all the lines.. but I can't really afford the cash right now and will just order the #2 line. Unless someone here talks me into buying the rest of the lines. Any stories from anyone previously taking this path of replacing only the leaking lines?
