how much fluid for e4od

I want to change the fluid and flush the torque converter but not sure how much I will need to buy. At the same time I will probably put in an aftermarket cooler. I am probably going to get the Amsoil fluid. The manual says 16.2 quarts but it does not say if that includes the torque converter or not. Thanks.

I just did mine and it took 16 qts. plus however much your new cooler holds.

I believe you'll need between 16-18 quarts if you are draining everything. Just depends on how much you can get out of it...
