Which one do you need?

I have no clue on what prices are for parts today, except for the fact that they are usually much higher than when the vehicles they fit on...were new.

My 78 Mercury has both a receiver-drier and an accumulator. but the 82 F150 is using aftermarket dealer installed air. its just a receiver drier on the driverside fender. I know it has two rotary ***** one of which when you turn it will cause the compressor to cycle. But the ac coil sits behind the dashboard on the inside and I cant see if theres an accumulator as well or not. With a cycling clutch it should have one but I dunno if it does.

On the fuel pump though I found two on some auction sites for car parts one is used but its all there and he says the vacuum pump still sucks when the lever is activated but it could probably use a rebuild (concours told me they cant get the rebuild kit for that pump of that year) but their asking so far $9 for it but s&h from canada to here is $22. Then I found a AC remanufactured one that still in the orignal box its $10 currently and the s&h is $10 as well. But I just was curious so I know how much to go and not screw myself over on the price.

Yes, I know that...but what does a 1978 Mercury Cougar have to do with a 1982 F150? **

Did you call the Ford dealer in KS to find out what they want for B7A9350E and to ask whether it has the glass bowl?
I looked at pics of the A/C systems used in 1982. The dealer installed A/C shows the dryer, the factory installed integral A/C shows an accumulator.

D6AZ19959A .. Dryer Tank (Motorcraft YL106) / Obsolete

KINSEL L/M in Beaumont TX has ONE = 800-816-2894.

KEN *** FORD in Troy AL has ONE = 877-269-3673.

There may be more of these around, one of the locator sites I use to search for obsolete parts is currently down for maintenance.

** There is no parts catalog listing for an accumulator for dealer installed A/C, no dryer tank listed for factory integral A/C.

Ah ok. Its no big deal though the system had some pressure still on it I just pulled vacuum on it and been using it. I wanted to replace it though when i went in for it though. But it works too good though and I hate to swap it out lol.

I also havent had a chance to call em yet. I am thinking if I can get the used one for under $30. I could always go to advance and get the new one without the bowl take it apart and swap the gaskets and parts to the old one put the old parts on the other pump. If I wanted to I could even take it back and say it doesent work or it doesnt fit
