New guy and need carburetor help
Hi guys I recently got a 69 F-250 with a 460 and either a t-18 or np-435 that was swapped in some time in the past and it is in need of a new carburetor. I have been looking at the ones in the 600-650 cfm range particularly the Edelbrock performer and the Demon road demon. My question is i plan on installing a C-6 in it some time in the future do i need to get one with a ford kick down lever or will that not work with manual transmission in it now.Does the C-6 even use the kick down lever im a complete noob to fords and carburetors so any help and guidance will be greatly appreciated.

The carb can be setup with the auto tranny kick down linkade and or can be used with you standard 4spd trans.. Then when your ready to install the C-6 you'll have to use the kick down linkage on the carb and the c-6 trans.. hope this helps..
