I was looking at some land(this parcel had 110 acres, although I'm leaning more towards the 176 one) and it had rained this morning so they realtor for the owner couldn't use his 2wd chevy 3/4(which you could see the tire marks where he tried that morning), which brings my truck to the rescue.
(as an aside my 4x4 issues actually were due to the GEM module programming being out of whack, thankfully I found that out when I hooked up my autoenginuity program up and it threw that code to let me know that programming was incomplete or something to that effect).
He was very impressed with how it handled going up the hills and when we weren't talking about the land we were talking about the truck and he wanted to see the engine bay and all that good stuff.
I think at the end of it I had him seriously thinking about getting a Ford diesel to pull that 5th wheel that he and his wife were thinking about getting.
If you would let me drive your truck I would probably by a second one Evan!! Thanks for all you do on this forum and for all the help you have given me. Glad your truck is still at peak performance.
It probably dont help the fact that when you buy a dodge or chevy you pay for it 3 times and dont even know it. 1st bail out paid by your taxes, 2nd bail out paid by your taxes and then the actual purchase. I sure am glad that ford used their heads long before this ever started and sold off some stuff and didnt need any help from the government. Its nice to know that when I refinanced my truck they told me that they can lend up to 130% on a Ford and no more than 100% on dodge and chevy. Now that I look back on it I should have taken the 130% and paid off my chevy, LOL.
