rough county 6" lift

I've been seeing this lift kit for about the past 2 years on ebay and was wandering if it would ride decently or if its junk.

It does seem really cheap.

Rough Country lift kits bring the suck, big time. A buddy of mine had the same kit on his '94 F150 and it was awful. The ride quality was quite good, but that was the only good thing about it. First off, the bushings it came with were garbage and went to hell in about a year. Second, the truck would not stay in allignment for more than 3 months at a time. I am very familar with the TTB setup's allignment problems (esspecially in lifted applications) as I have had a few TTB vehicles (I currently own 2). The Rough Country kit made things worse than any TTB setup I have ever seen.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I would hate to see you get the kit and be unhappy with it.

I don't know about Fords, but in the world of GM, Tuff Country lift aren't much more expensive and are much much better than Rough Country.

yeah this is definitely one of those times you can say you really do get what you pay for...i paid for BDS and ive ridden in BDS lifted trucks and its nice
