Adding to the fleet

Well we are adding an 08 F 450 crew cab dually 4x4 with the 6.4L and King Ranch package. what are the pros and cons of the 6.4L or truck for that matter.

I've got an 08 F550 with the 6.4L. Had it a little over a year. It is much quieter than the 6.0 or 7.3 and I like it so far. My only future concern is the DPF system and the regen cycle. I hear the DPF's are VERY expensive.

No mods and as for mileage, I'm useless. I've never tracked it, my employees just fill it up when it needs it. It has an 18' stake bed and never has less than 10,000 lbs on it.
