sorry for the odd topic in the diesel forum. Figured since this is a vehicle specific question i'd ask here.
Anyhoo, my door lock solenoid on the drivers side has been shuttering when you press the unlock. Best description is that it sounds like a like a machine gun firing. Any ideas? Ever happen to you before?
How does one replace the soleniod. At $75 for a new one i'm going junkyarding for one. Just want to have an idea from soneone who's done it before I go to a junkyard without a drill or something odd... and i'm not looking forward to opening my door panels...they always go back right. Aye aye aye
