need help carb is spitting
my 2 barrel is spitting on of fuel when i press the gas alittle when i try to start it. i go to crank it up and and then sits there turning i press the gas and it starts spitting like crazy. psps psps. it doesnt do it unless i tap the gas pedal. i also saw alittle flame come out here. can some one help me out please.

well i was reading up on it and i remember taking out the dist. so i adjust the timing and it started no problem, but i cant seem to keep the truck running. i try to adjust the carb by putting the idler the highest and then adjust it down and then it tries to idler a normal low idle then just turns off. im goin to change the the plug wires and see what itll do.

Hmm sounds ilke your timing is, but was it running ok b4 you messed with it?? Did you set the dissy to #1 which is on the passenger side or to your left looking at the motor if it's a fe...Some people make this mistake and time it like the GM Motors by using the right hand plug as #1. But what motor is yours Like post b4 need more info...
