should have no problems but u should take a pixture of ur truck now and then one when u get the 31's on ... this way others that have the same plans can get a good idea of how the vechile will be look ... good luck
No its a 2wd. And I belive I have 15inch rims, I'm out of town till this weekend and I got the truck like 3 day before I left town... so 2wd and 15in rims. Can I put 31s on? I know rim size don't matter if the tire diamater is always 31 or what even number I would want to chose
84' F250 came stock with 8 lug, 16 inch wheels. There are after market 8 lug, 15 inch wheels available but a 15 inch tire will not have the load capacity of the stock 16 inch. The 15 will not fit the front axle if it has the larger calipers.
2 wheel drive and 4x4's came stock with the 16's. I have 12.50, 33's on mine with no problems.
The factory tires on that '84 were, as mentioned, 235-85/16 size, which is right at 32" when new. So 31s will fit just fine. 33s will fit too, it's with the '92-'96 body style where you start to have fitment issues with oversized tires.
One thing to factor tho, is tire width - I have 265-75/16s in the front and at full lock they are only a hair away from rubbing on the sway bar. If I have the front wheels widened up towards the outside then the tires will sit right and won't interfere with the sway bar, they will stick out of the wheel wells a bit tho...
on a stock 2wd I have 265/75/16s and they fit and look good, there is no way I could go any wider though maybe a hair taller but I doubt they make that combo. IMO this is a good tire set up if you dont want the stock ones it fills the wheel wells nice. I get the very slightest bit of rub at full lock but its very slight.
