ac issue
I can't find the ac compressor clutch fuse on my 99 F250 SD. I have looked in the owners manual and I don't see it in the list. Could someone tell me where it so? I am trying to figure out why my AC clutch isn't kicking in. I tried jumping the low freon switch, but the clutch still wouldn't kick in. Any other suggestions after I check the fuse?

There is no specific fuse for the A/C compressor clutch. There is a 10A fuse (#24) under the dash, that may be the culprit, or it could be #23 (40A) in the junction box under the hood, there is a cycling pressure switch, a refrigeration containment switch, and an A/C clutch solenoid. It could be your control, on the dash, it could be low refrigerant, the clutch could be defective, there could be a broken wire.
