GLOW PLUG help.

I am finally going to replace my glow plugs. I am doing this now, because I really dont want to do it in the colder wheather.

Guidance is asked about which brand to buy?

I did have my stepfather check the dealership for a price and it was $12.00 a plug for motorcraft.

I have seen some others advertised up to $25.00 a plug, and as cheap as $7.50 a plug.

What are the pro's and cons's? I am doing this soon.

Use the Motorcraft ones some of the cheaper ones the tip will swell up and have broken off into the cylinder. Check Ebay there have been some members that have gotten great deal on them there.

Just did a qwick check on E-bay for Al. Only found one Motorcraft glow plug.

I'll keep checking.

Motorcraft ZD-11, those are what you want.

Bosch are good if you can find a good price.

Do not buy Autolites. They tend to swell.

i have a set of bosch sitting in the truck along with a stancor relay. I'll report on how they work when i change them (soon).
i paid aound $20 a piece (i'm from canada so its a good deal) But i did get a special price.
