icp sensor
well pulled the connector on the icp sensor today and it was covered in oil i'm pretty sure that ain't good.
can i get this part from international or does it have to be a ford part?? what can i expect to pay for it?

Run poor
Generally your truck will run poorly. 2501105c1 Have a tendancy to leak oil and insulate the signal from the PCM. Then you may not have the right pressure to the injectors. At times the vehicle can surge for no reason, this is due to fouled out ICP or a leak at the ICP. Then the IPR is controlled by the PCM & then there is the calculated injection timing. So if either of the two, ICP or IPR are not working right then you can have performance issues. Simular conditions can be symptoms of low oil level in the HPOP or one that is on the way out. If the truck is idling you can try unplugging the ICP and see how it runs. It may idle rough or die.
