Why ICP sensors on ebay are so cheap?

I see them going around $ 60 or less.
What is the deal?
How come they can get it so cheap.
I found this information.. That those supposed to be marke with "with one that has a date code of 6318 or higher ("C916318A" 6=1996, 318= Julian date Nov. 15);

So is it possible that those are discontinued old version????????

My thoughts are this...The five finger discount on popular easy to stuff in the lunch box parts really pay to sell on ebay. Many of these guys even tell you they work for Ford. For what they sell them for I have a hard time they pay for them and make any money. I can't prove any of that but it my thoughts.

typical dealer parts are over 300% mark-up, no exaggeration. not all but most.
batteries, brake pads\shoes, wiper blades, oil and filters, and other similar items are not marked up at all to try to draw in busniss and keep it away from mr tire and NTb type places.
prime example. this is pre 10 dollar cam sensor- the old sensor cost you about 170 bucks a pop, ever notice that when it got cold out the price went up to over 200? more failures= more money. even better was i could buy a cam sensor for 60 bucks and you had to pay 200.
i could pull reciepes out all night with my price versus yours from those days. it would make you sick

There are typically 3 price ranges a dealer will sell parts wholesale ,jobber,retail.Wholesale goes to other dealers,jobber to independent shops,retail to suckers who don't know better.Always ask for jobber u may not get it but they will realize u are no sucker.

lol, you are so off dude, there is no such thing as a wholesale price, they tell you that to thin kits a deal. they sign up people for "wholesale" accounts to tkeep them coming. try it yourself, get a part number and call a delaer, ask for wholesale price, then call another dealer and ask the same question, i gurantee it will be 2 totaly different prices. also prices vary by counterperson. oh yeah, thats right, they can adjust the price up or down on a case by case basis. its not like goin to autozone and getting the customer rate or busniss rate, they will mark it up even more then the computer does. it gets ugly on engines and transmissions too,

Ok here are some hard number from my Ford parts man. ICP for a 97. dealer cost 101.60 (that what local dealer pays for the part. Retail (for joe blow off the street)- 169.33 and my cost (wholesale/jobber) 132.08. I have the print out they get off the computer. My dads shop has an account with them and we buy all our Ford only parts from them. So if Ebay has ICP sensors that regularly sell for under $100 and they sell more than one there is no way those ICP are bought then resold. They are stolen then sold. This leaves a serious moral problem for us. What to do??

oh buy the way IH ICP (#1807329c92) retail is 145.74 and Wholesale/jobber is 112.54

The IPR (#1925806c92)o-ring kits- last one I got from ford was around $30-35. IH retail is $22.28 wholesale/jobber is 16.26. Lets just say I know those parts are legit and I just paid half price for the same thing from Ford.
