Downpipe options

Hey all...I'm looking at buying a new 3" DP for the PSD and was wondering what you guys thought...I need something that wont rust and helps with egts but cant spend to much money, So i was wondering if you guys/girls could give me some ideas and prices? Thanks a million. I am thinking of running a 3" to 5" straight pipe.

I got my downpipe from Beans Diesel. Havn't had it on for too long so I'm not sure about rust on it. It was about $90 plus shipping.

If you contact Dale at Tymar he does ceramic coated downpipes that will be much better quality and help with the rust and egt's more. Also be spending about twice as much as I did though.

If you can find a powder-coating business where you live you can always get a cheaper one and have it powder coated and that will help with rust a lot!

anything aluminized will rust over time. just from the heat alone will cause what ever paint to break down. after i fit mine up, i painted it with high temp paint on top of the aluminize. and its starting to get surface rust. brownie is right. dale can ceramic coat it for you but they are $$$

there is a bright side, they will never rust from the inside out like those gassers
