Hey guys, Im going to stop and look at a truck locally here tomorrow, thinking it is a good deal might just buy it.

I don't have all of the details, not 100% sure on the price.

It's a 90 xcab Diesel 4x4.

Body is perfect looks to have 86,000 km on it.

Anything these trucks are known for that I need to be aware of?

Cylinder cavation . The 7.3 were know for it. Check to see if there is exhaust gas in the coolant resevoir or if the resivoir is black or low on coolant or full of fresh GREEN coolant.

If it is an auto check condition of the fluid

Check the sping hangers and shackels for rot(frame too) the radiator suports rot out by the mounts

Look for an either can any where. If you see one, that is a BAD sign and the glow plugs may be destroyed causing them to explode inside the combustion chamber and impaling then into the piston tops, causing a rebuild
