What would you get???

I'm thinking of getting a new truck and just wondering what you guys would get. A Chevy,Gmc,Dodge,or a Ford. Of course it would be diesel, and using it to pull a trailer. I'm Leaning towards a dodge, thanks

Now, don't get me wrong - I love the 7.3L PSD and I plan on keeping her......but, if I could have two pick-ups I would be tempted by the new 6.7L Dodge. Have some customers than own them - DPF delete & the right tunes - they are getting 22-23 mpg with a dually and plenty of power. I din't believe it myself until I drove it. Nice setup.

I also have to say I like the looks of the new Dodges. I think it's because it kind of resembles the older SuperDuties. Since they changed the front end in 2008, the Dodges look better to me now. LOL That said, the 6.4 will lay down some serious power with the same mods (remember, it's a CR engine and has compound turbos!). I would guess the mileage goes up as well with the DPF delete.

EDIT: However, you also have to look at the recent events. Pick your truck: Government Motors, Fiat, or FORD. I would honestly buy a Ford today, just for that reason alone.

Ditto what Joe said. If you plan to keep your truck for a while, looks like Ford is more stable than the others. A car salesman I know said that people are coming in to buy Fords who have not owned a Ford before simply because Ford is on their own and seems to be doing well. And from what I hear, Ford has most of the bugs out of the 6.4 and it is performing well. (Oh yeah, don't as Nick.)

I always liked the Dodge but when I started looking I came across a mint condition used ford 7.3 and am super happy. It runs great has an awesome ride everything about it is solid interior and exterior.
