Scroll down a guy put one on his Motorhome with a V10 (3V I believe) but the 2V is different than the 3V and may use different materials in the fuel system. http://www.fuelflexint.com/pages/comments.htm
Could contact the company for info. There has been some interest here from time to time for E85 conversions. The V10 is actually a very flexible engine being able to run on propane, CNG and of course gasoline. Of course your mpg will go down quite a bit with E85. If you do convert your truck over let us know how it works.
My thoughts are ; If the E85 is coming from a pump down at the local, i would be worried on its consistency on a on going basis.. Newer flex fuel vehicles have the PCM / sensor controls and are more capable to detect changes in E85.
Is the fuel system in our trucks compatible with long term use of E85? If there are no issues with ethanol eating the soft materials, that conversion system looks interesting?
On a side note, I run about 1/3 tank of E85 every once in awhile to clean out the fuel system. I haven't had any problems.
Like Mike said newer flex fuel vehicles like the new F-150 have a sensor to detect the fuel difference. I guess it detects octane or something. If your running straight E85 with a tune for it everything should be good, but if you mix fuels and reduce the octane significantly you could have some major issues. I can see how the fuel may vary as it varies in ethanol content in my area but we don't have E85.
The vast number of plugs on the box I linked to leads me to believe its more than just a reflash box. Would be nice to know if what year trucks have E85compatible components. If you switch over to 100% E85 a larger fuel tank would probably be a good idea too because I'm shure the range on 29 gallons will be low.
I see diablosport has a tuner line out for GM to run on E85. Says it works with E5-E85. Chevys must have a sensor or something though some vehicles they list ar epretty old (99') I didn't know they had flex fuel vehicles that far back. http://www.diablosport.com/index.php...isplay&pid=112
