Turbo lag fixed

Earlier I posted a request for help regarding a severe turbo lag, I got basically no responses so I took the truck to my dealer where they had two month's earlier installed a new turbo. When I picket the truck up they told me that they had to contact ford and that it was merely a Flash they had to perform. The computer had to be upgraded and now there is no turbo lag at all.

For those of you who are experiencing issues with big smoke, you might need to persue this option. I have seen this posted several times.

Guess I was on an extended vacation when you posted. Glad the new flash got your truck fixed as most usually complain about a loss of power and mileage. Enjoy your 6.0

Nice...Seen this same issue many times on here, have the same issue myself and this is the first fix I've seen posted. I did check into a new flash, but they told me it was $125.00. I shoulda done it. Figured my truck only had 68k on it and if it would fix anything they should do it for free.

I modded my EGR up-pipe and got the PHP FICM tuning to eliminate most of my turbo lag. What seems to help most day-to-day is adding 2-stroke at every fill up of fuel.
