It really sounds like a blown fuse for the fuel bowl heater or the fuel safety shut off. Double check fuse #30 under the dash and fuse #19 and 24 under the hood.
I was checking for power at all of the fuses since they looked good. I had power at all times at the fuses under the hood.
Fuse 29 only has power when the key is on. I went to put the fuse in with the power on and the WTS light came on. If I held the fuse to one side the light would stay on and the truck would start.
If I let go of the fuse the truck would die. I put a slight twist in each side of the fuse blades and now it works all the time.
That's odd, 29 is listed as a 5 amp fuse for instrument cluster. Don't know, it must have something else on there not listed. Glad you got it fixed and your back up and running.
I'm still curious about this and the fact that 29 is just above 30 and 30 will cause all of your problems. It might pay you to pull the fuse block down and have a look at the back side. I fear you may find some green corrosion on the back indicating a small water leak causing loose or corroded contacts.
