2000 7.3 Starting Issues
He has a 2000 7.3 6 speed. When the ignition is turned to the on position all lights come on and the truck goes through the warm up sequence as it should. When you press the clutch in to start the truck is where the problems begin. If the clutch is to the floor it kills everything on the dash and overhead. If you release the clutch a little you can hear some clicking and then all lights come back on and the truck starts. If you release the clutch too far all the dash lights go dim and you hear more clicking under the hood. He just had the nuetral safety switch replaced and he has checked all of his fuses. He thinks the problem may be in the instalation of the nuetral safety switch(suspect mechanic).
Is there anything that can be done to narrow the problem down? Any info from you guys is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Wes
