The black on the F-Series trucks that is only the F-150 logo can be removed with acetone, and doing that makes it look like an all chrome logo.

 

I saw that too but does that work on the 92-96 style too?

 

The only emblems that you are able to do this to are. 99-present.

pre 99 the black parts are baked on. so you have to go buy new emblems.. there has been a few occasions where people with pre 99 trucks. have acetoned there emblems and they have worked but for the most part you need to get newer ones.
