transmission question

hello. truck '84 f250 300-6 4.9l 4spd man trans

my tranny might be bad (i know the clutch is going out) and looking at maybe replacing it with the m5r2. anyone know if this will work? any words of advice?

Skip the mazda trans unless it is for cheap, and go right to the ZF
