hey guys... as some of you may know, in previous posts of mine, im looking to become a proud powerstroke owner... ive been searching high and low for one, but as im a picky looker im finding it difficult to find what im looking for... i keep a close eye out on local newspapers, the bay of e, autotrader, and craigslist... but am comming up empty. so i was hoping that maybe someone on here might know of either another place to look or know of one for sale. here is what im looking for.
a 1996-97 f250 7.3l (duh) crewcab, short bed, 4x4, power everything (would be nice) clearance lights (would be nice too) and automatic. something sub 200K miles, and hopefully sub 8-10 grand.
i dont expect ya'll to do my work on finding a truck, i just figured a few more eyes are better than just mine, and it is all about who you know :P
ive been trying to find one within driving distance so i can look at if before purchasing. but i trust the regulars on here so i would just take your word for it if ya'll found one. thanks for the help... im back to my search
hmm... I thought MissIndipendent posted something about her neighbor selling his a few weeks back. I'm thinking its what your looking for...or maybe it was a longbed.
I'll keep an eye out around here, but you would be better of buyinga southern truck than one from the midwest. Most around here including mine has body rust issues.
