I'm looking for a part# for spring pack bolts on my 04 F250. I know they used to be available but Ford doesn't show them in the catalog anymore. Can any of you experts help?
Center bolts, but after going to the alignment shop yesterday and having a LONG discussion with the tech and going through the previous 3 alignment sheets, it appears that the rear axle tube is either mismanufactured or bent. Since the truck has never been wrecked OR pulled any more than 5K he was a little mystified at the readings he was getting.
I don't know about the rears, but I just replaced both of my front spring packs (snapped a spring off-roading, but that's another story) and was able to get all new bolts and nuts for the front.
The parts guys I go to pull up the picture of the exploded view with part numbers for what I'm looking for, verify that's the part I want/need, then look it up. If you have your parts department bring up the exploded view of the rear end, I guarantee that it will show the bolts on it. They can then look up the part number for availability. They don't take up much space, but they are not cheap (at least for the front they weren't).

I've got some really good (and experienced) Ford parts guys who looked for a long time. I know in the past they were available, but no longer, at least in the current Ford software. I will check the fronts, though. If you happen to run across the guy, have him check it. I am looking for the bolts that hold the springs together vertically......about 7/16 x 5 1/4" long, not the bolts that hold the springs to the truck.
It's just a 7/16 center bolt so go to your local spring shop and they will have them and if you have none local I can send you out some. Cost around $3 each and I've got them in 4, 6 and 8" long.
