I just joined FTE today and I LOVE this site. My 2000 Expedition that I bought last week has a few quirks and I found a LOT of helpful information. I've also had a great time reading the posts that have nothing to do with automobiles.
I grew up with Ford trucks. My dad taught me to drive with an F350 dually pulling a 4 horse gooseneck trailer. He said that if I could drive that than I'd have no problem driving a car. He was right when it came to the ability to drive, however he didn't realize that I'd have a problem with the concept of a car ;-) My ex husband kept the Excursion in the divorce and I ended up with a Matrix. However 1 new husband, an 18 month old daughter, a 3 month old son, a yellow lab, a shepherd, and the combination of 2 1/2 acres & a love of gardening has FINALLY put me back in a Ford truck-where I belong!
I'm looking forward to getting to know as many of you as I can-and joining in the prayers that Ford will come out with something as good or better (don't shoot me) than the GREAT 7.3L Excursions.
