Hello everyone. I have enjoyed a lot of information that I have found extremely useful so far but I have not posted anything myself as of yet. I recently acquired a 1966 F100 that my great grandfather purchased new in 1966. When he passed, my grandfather got it. When I was about 5 years old, My grandfather let me drive it on a few old dirt roads. I wasn't very good at driving and was all over the road. However, it was the first time I was behind the wheel and I remember it fondly. When my granddad passed, my uncle got the truck and he drove it for a bit before parking it. The truck sat for 20 years before I asked to buy it. Fortunately, he gave it to me.
The truck is a flare side, 6 cyl. with "3 on the tree.". It is Springtime yellow (and the color of rust) and has seen better days. I intend to do a restore on the truck back to original ( but probably not a complete frame off) and make it something I might drive on the weekends. Anyhow, I look forward to browsing this site for it's wealth of knowledge contained within it's pages and I appreciate any advice. Thanks!
-Greg
